Mercure Harvestland is the newest Accor property in Bali and opened in July 2011. A convenient location on the by pass close to the airport gives hotel guests easy access to every corner of the island. Mercure Harvestland has a young and fresh colour scheme shaded in green, yellow, and its signature red. There are two F&B outlets, Roots – an all day dining venue, and Harvest Lounge specialising in afternoon drinks and cocktails. Roots is located right by the lobby, with a subtle white partition shaped like tree branches. The modern, minimalist look of the interior invites visitors to take an even closer look. Open from 6.30 am for breakfast, Roots offers an eclectic menu with Balinese and French touches. The restaurant overlooks the pool and sliding glass doors pull back to allow a generous breeze.
The drinks served from the Harvest Lounge are also too good to miss. B Passion is a mocktail highlighting exotic passion fruit with hints of lemon juice and soda. Paradise Cooler gets its pink colour from the rose wine mix and Harvestland Martini is a drink made for ladies, with a bit of lemongrass extract to make it more sensual. Coffee lovers will like The Harvestland which is a double espresso with hazelnut syrup and topped with vanilla ice cream. \MA
